Our Favorite Pie Crust(From Pioneer Cookbook) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. shortening (Crisco)
1 egg yolk
2 tsp. vinegar
6 Tbsp. ice water
Preparation

Use a pastry blender to cut shortening into dry ingredients. Combine egg yolk, vinegar and ice water and stir until smooth. Add to dry ingredients by sprinkling one tablespoon at a time and tossing dough with a fork until water is absorbed.
When all water is absorbed, mold into two balls for a top and bottom crust.
