Sausage Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. bulk sausage
    1 c. rice (uncooked; not instant)
    1 (2 oz.) pkg. dehydrated chicken noodle soup
    1/4 c. onion, chopped
    1 c. celery, sliced
    2 1/2 c. water
    1 Tbsp. soy sauce
    1/2 c. toasted slivered almonds
Preparation
    Brown sausage in ungreased skillet.
    Pour off fat as it accumulates. Mix sausage with rice, soup, onion and celery. Place in 2-quart casserole.
