Spumoni - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 gallon each strawberry, vanilla and pistachio almond ice cream
    Black walnut pieces
    Maraschino cherries
    Rum (may be added)
Preparation
    Soften ice cream slightly. Layer ice cream, strawberry on bottom, vanilla in the middle and pistachio on top. Sprinkle walnuts between each kind of ice cream.
    Can use a 10 x 14 dish or 2 smaller ones.
    Sprinkle nuts on top, then decorate with maraschino cherries. cover with plastic wrap or foil and freeze.
