Old Fashioned Beef Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 lb. boneless beef, cubed
    1/4 c. flour
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. paprika
    3 Tbsp. oil
    12 small onions
    6 to 8 potatoes
    6 to 8 carrots
    parsley
    1 c. peas (optional)
    1 large onion, chopped
Preparation
    Roll pieces of meat in mixture of flour, salt, pepper and paprika.
    Brown in oil.
    Add chopped onions and brown a few minutes longer.
    Sprinkle any remaining flour over meat; stir. Add hot water, enough to just cover meat.
    Cover; simmer 2 hours or until almost tender.
    Add vegetables, except peas, and cook for 35 minutes longer.
    Add peas and cook 5 minutes more.
    Sprinkle with chopped parsley.
