Hamburger Roast - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 large potatoes
3 lb. lean ground beef
1 onion, finely chopped
salt and pepper
1 tsp. chopped parsley
2 slices bread, made into crumbs
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/4 lb. bacon
Preparation

Peel potatoes and cut into chunks.
Boil until tender.
Mash and leave to cool.
Combine mashed potatoes, ground beef and all other ingredients, except bacon.
Mix well and shape into thick, rectangular loaf.
Wrap slices of bacon around hamburger roast, tucking ends under loaf.
Place in roasting pan.
Bake at 400\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours.
Garnish with fresh parsley.
Serves 10.
