24-Hour Sliced Pickles - cooking recipe
Ingredients

8 c. unpeeled, sliced cucumbers
1 c. sliced sweet onion
2 Tbsp. canning salt (sprinkle over top)
2 c. sugar
1 c. vinegar
1 tsp. mustard seed
1 tsp. celery seed
Preparation

Mix cucumbers, onion and canning salt and let sit 1 hour or so (you can use an ice cream pail for this).
Boil and cool sugar, vinegar, mustard seed and celery seed.
Then pour over cucumbers. Mix together and let set overnight.
Can eat in 24 hours. Refrigerate and put in containers.
