Apple Crisp - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. flour
    1 c. sugar
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 egg
    4 large cooking apples
    1/3 c. butter, melted
    cinnamon (optional)
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 400\u00b0.
    Sift first three ingredients into a bowl.
    Add egg; mix lightly with fork until mixture is crumbly. Arrange fruit pieces in a greased 8-inch square pan.
    Top with crumbs.
    Pour butter over top of crumbs.
    Sprinkle with cinnamon. Bake for 40 minutes or until crumbs are crisp.
