English Toffee - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. margarine
    1 c. sugar
    3 Tbsp. water
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Place ingredients in pan and cook until deep beige in color. Stir constantly.
    Pour into buttered dish and place 3 small Hershey bars over mixture.
    Spread with knife and about 1/2 cup chopped nuts.
    Break into pieces when cooled.
