Barbecued Beef - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/3 c. Crisco
    2 lb. diced lean beef
    1 c. diced onion
    1 c. diced celery
    2 Tbsp. vinegar
    1 Tbsp. lemon juice
    2 Tbsp. brown sugar
    2 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. Worcestershire
    1 c. catsup or chili sauce
    1 c. diced green pepper
    2 bouillon cubes, dissolved in 1 c. boiling water
Preparation
    Melt Crisco
    in
    heavy\tskillet and brown meat, onions, celery and peppers.
    Stir in remaining ingredients.
    Cover and cook over low heat
    until meat is tender for 1 to 1 1/2 hours. Serve on buns, toast or cooked rice.
