Turtle Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 box German chocolate cake mix
    1 (14 oz.) bag caramels
    1/2 c. evaporated milk
    3/4 c. margarine or butter
    1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Prepare cake mix according to high altitude directions on box. Bake 1/2 of the batter 20 minutes in a greased and floured 9 x 15-inch pan.
    Melt caramels, milk and butter over low heat.
    Pour over first half of baked cake.
    Pour remaining batter over filling.
    Sprinkle nuts on top.
    Bake 20 to 30 minutes longer.
