Jeweled Fruitcake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (6 to 8 oz.) pkg. dried apricots
1 (6 to 8 oz.) pkg. dried pitted dates
4 oz. colored candied pineapple wedges
1 (12 oz.) jar red maraschino cherries, drained
1 (6 oz.) jar green maraschino cherries, drained
1 1/2 c. pecan halves
1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
3 tsp. vanilla
6 eggs
Preparation

Mix dry ingredients.
Add fruit, beaten eggs and vanilla. Grease loaf pans.
Bake at 300\u00b0
for 1 hour or more, according to size of pan.
