Fruit Shortcake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 eggs
2 c. sugar
2 c. flour
4 tsp. vanilla or almond or 2 tsp. of both
4 c. fruit (can use more)
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. vegetable oil
2 tsp. baking powder
Preparation

Beat eggs; add remaining ingredient except fruit all at once. Cover bottom of Pyrex baking dish with drained fruit; sprinkle with sugar (white or brown).
Drop batter or pour evenly over fruit.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
Serve warm.
