Applesauce Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 c. flour
2 c. sugar
1 box raisins
2 c. chopped nuts
1 tsp. each: cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves
2 sticks margarine
3 c. unsweetened applesauce (if applesauce is sweet, cut back on sugar)
4 tsp. soda
1 c. cherry preserves
Preparation

In a very large bowl, mix together the flour, sugar, raisins, nuts and spices.
Heat together the margarine and applesauce. When hot, add the soda.
Stir and pour over dry ingredients. Stir well.
Add preserves.
Blend in and bake in a large tube pan at 300\u00b0 for 2 hours.
Let cool well before removing from pan.
