Festive Fudge - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    2/3 c. evaporated milk
    12 marshmallows
    1/2 c. butter
    dash of salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 pkg. chocolate chips
    1 c. nuts
Preparation
    Mix in heavy 2-quart saucepan sugar, milk, marshmallows, butter and salt.
    Cook, stirring constantly over medium heat to a boil. (Mixture will be bubbly all across top.) Boil and stir for 5 minutes.
    Remove from heat.
    Add vanilla and chocolate chips. Stir until completely melted.
    Stir in nuts.
    Spread in buttered 8-inch square pan.
    Cool.
    Cut into 30 pieces.
