Country Inn Chocolate Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. flour
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. cocoa
1 egg
1/4 c. Crisco
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. water (boiling)
1 tsp. baking soda (add to 1 c. boiling water)

Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Grease and flour an 8-inch square or round cake pan.
Mix all ingredients together (batter will be very thin) and bake in prepared pan for approximately 25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in cake comes out clean.
