My Pear Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    pears
    water
    1 c. sugar
    a little cinnamon and ground cloves
    1 can biscuits
    butter or oleo
Preparation
    Take a pan of little knotty pears off my tree.
    Peel and cut in tiny slices.
    Add water to cover; cook in pot on top of stove. Add 1 cup sugar and a little cinnamon and ground cloves.
    While cooking, open a can of biscuits; split the 10 to make 20.
    Put lots of butter or oleo in; cook in oven.
    When done, split these and add more butter and brown.
    Layer with pears.
