Kheema Mattar(A Mild Ground Beef Curry) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. oil
    1 large onion, sliced thin
    2 cloves garlic
    1 tsp. ground ginger
    1 tsp. turmeric
    1/2 tsp. chili powder
    1 lb. hamburger
    1 c. yogurt
    1 c. fresh or frozen peas
    1 tsp. garam masala
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1 chili
    2 Tbsp. chopped coriander leaves
Preparation
    Fry onion in oil, add garlic and ginger; stir.
    Add turmeric and chili powder.
    Add hamburger meat and cook through.
    Stir in yogurt and peas.
    Cook 15 minutes, simmer on low.
    Add garam masala and salt.
    Garnish with chili and coriander.
    Serve over hot rice.
    Makes 4 to 6 servings.
