Applesauce Bread Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 large eggs, slightly beaten
    4 c. milk
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    3 Tbsp. melted margarine or butter
    3 tsp. vanilla
    2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 c. raisins
    1 1/2 c. or 1 (32 oz.) jar or can unsweetened applesauce
    6 large or 12 small slices Italian bread
Preparation
    Soak raisins in hot water to plump.
    Combine eggs, sugar, applesauce and milk.
    Stir in butter, vanilla, cinnamon and raisins.
    Tear bread into 1-inch pieces and add until bread is coated (you can use bread ends).
