Ham Gravy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 Tbsp. butter
    1/3 c. flour
    2 tsp. concentrated beef extract
    1 3/4 c. water
    Sherry to taste
Preparation
    Melt butter in a medium sauce pan over medium heat. Add flour and beef extract. Mix thoroughly. Slowly add water. Cook until smooth and thick. Add sherry to taste.
