Baked Garlic Chicken - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    20 cloves garlic (10 peeled and crushed)
    1/2 tsp. grated lemon rind
    1/8 tsp. dried sage
    1/8 tsp. dried thyme
    1/4 tsp. fresh rosemary
    2 slices lemon
    2 Tbsp. butter or oleo
    salt and pepper
    1 broiler chicken
Preparation
    Soften butter or oleo; add garlic that's peeled and crushed, lemon rind and spices.
    Mix well.
    Set aside.
    Loosen chicken skin, starting at neck, working under skin all over breast and legs; remove excess fat.
    Now using fingers again, apply garlic butter to chicken meat under skin all over.
    Put lemon slices and 10 unpeeled garlic cloves inside bird.
    Salt and pepper inside and out well. Bake at 375\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours, uncovered.
    Baste if you want.
    Serve with French bread.
