Pasta Vegetable Chowder - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. small shells or elbow macaroni
    3 c. milk, divided
    1 (10 oz.) box frozen mixed vegetables
    1/2 tsp. dried thyme
    1 1/2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    salt and pepper to taste
    1/2 tsp. paprika
    1 (6 oz.) can clams, drained
Preparation
    Prepare pasta according to package directions; drain.
    Rinse pasta under cold water until cool; drain again.
