Apple Cobbler - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/4 c. flour
1/2 c. sugar
2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. shortening
6 to 8 apples
Preparation

Combine flour, sugar, baking powder and salt in sifter.
To this mixture, add shortening as for pie dough and mix.
Add enough milk to make soft dough like biscuits.
Drop about half of mixture in greased baking dish.
Cut apples as for pie; add sugar and cinnamon to apples and mix.
Place apples on top of dough, then put the rest of the dough over the apples in small bits.
Bake at 350\u00b0 until apples are done.
