Moist Pound Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. butter, softened
1/4 c. shortening
1 1/2 c. sugar
3 eggs or the equivalent egg substitute
1 1/2 c. cake flour or 1 1/4 c. flour
1/4 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. milk
1/2 tsp. almond or lemon extract
1/4 tsp. vanilla extract
Preparation

Cream together butter and shortening.
As you continue to beat with mixer, gradually add sugar (do not pour all in at once).
Add eggs one at a time.
In another bowl, mix flour and baking powder. Add to creamed ingredients alternating with milk.
Stir in extracts.
Pour in greased and floured (9 x 5 x 3-inch) pan.
Bake at 325\u00b0 for 50 to 55 minutes.
