Pea-Filled Onion Baskets - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 medium onions, halved
    1/4 tsp. dried oregano
    1 c. cooked green peas
    1/4 c. chopped fresh mushrooms
    1 tsp. butter, melted
    1 Tbsp. sweet red pepper, chopped
    salt and pepper to taste
    paprika
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Remove centers of onions and chop. Place onion halves in a small baking pan and bake 10 minutes. Combine chopped onions, oregano, peas, mushrooms, butter and red pepper and fill onion cavities.
    Cover with foil and bake an additional 15 minutes.
    Sprinkle with salt, pepper and paprika before serving.
    Serves 4.
