Hummingbird Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. all-purpose flour
2 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
2 c. bananas, chopped
3 eggs, beaten
1 1/2 c. salad oil
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
8 oz. can crushed pineapple (undrained)
2 c. chopped pecans or walnuts
Frosting (recipe follows)
Preparation

Combine dry ingredients in a large mixing bowl.
Add eggs and oil, stirring until mixture is moistened.
Do not beat.
Stir in vanilla, pineapple, 1 cup of nuts and bananas.
Spoon batter into greased and floured 9 x 13-inch cake pan.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes.
Cool in pan for 10 minutes.
Remove from pan and cool completely.
