Artichokes And Beans - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 whole scallions, chopped
    1 small onion, chopped
    2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
    1 small jar marinated artichokes, drained (but not washed)
    fresh green beans, cleaned and cut into equal lengths
    salt and pepper
    juice of 1/2 large lemon
    1 carrot, sliced thin
    1 Tbsp. butter
Preparation
    In a heavy frypan, saute scallions and onion in oil over very low heat.
    When transparent but not browned, add artichokes, beans, salt, pepper, lemon juice, butter and carrot.
    Cook over lowest possible heat (with cover on) for 25 to 30 minutes.
    Serves 4 to 6.
