Apple Crisp - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 large apples (6 c.)
1/2 c. water
2 tsp. lemon juice
3/4 c. flour
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. granulated sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 c. butter
Preparation

Arrange apples in greased casserole (or 9-inch square pan). Sprinkle with water and lemon juice.
Spoon flour (not sifted) into measuring cup, level off and pour into a bowl.
Add sugar and cinnamon to flour and stir until well blended.
Cut in butter until it resembles coarse meal.
Spoon evenly over apples.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 40 to 50 minutes.
Serve with cream, if desired.
