Ingredients

1/2 c. long grain rice
1 c. water
1 egg
3/4 c. sugar
2 1/2 Tbsp. cornstarch
1 Tbsp. butter (margarine)
2 1/2 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
sprinkle of (1/8 tsp.) cinnamon-nutmeg
Preparation

Simmer rice and water for 20 minutes.
Mix egg, sugar, cornstarch, butter and milk.
Cook on medium heat, stirring constantly, until thickens.
Stir in rice, vanilla and spices.
