Marbled Cream Cheese Brownies - cooking recipe

1 (4 oz.) pkg. Baker's sweet chocolate
3 Tbsp. margarine
2 Tbsp. margarine
3 to 4 oz. cream cheese
1/4 c. sugar
1 egg
1 Tbsp. flour
1/2 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
3/4 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. almond extract
1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation

Melt chocolate and 3 tablespoons margarine over low heat in double boiler, stirring constantly.
In first bowl, put 2 tablespoons margarine and cream cheese; cream until softened. Gradually add sugar until light and fluffy.
Stir in egg, flour and 1/2 teaspoon vanilla until blended.
In second bowl, beat 2 eggs until fluffy and light in color; gradually add 3/4 cup of sugar and beat until thickened.
Fold in baking powder, salt and 1/2 cup flour.
Blend in the cool mixture.
Stir in vanilla, almond extract and nuts.
Measure 1 cup of chocolate batter and set aside.
