Scandinavian Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (No. 2) can cut green beans
    1 (No. 2) can whole kernel corn
    1 (4 oz.) jar chopped pimento
    1 (No. 2) can English peas
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. vinegar
    1 Tbsp. paprika
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1/2 c. chopped celery
    1 1/2 Tbsp. salt
    1/2 c. cooking oil
Preparation
    Drain vegetables.
    Mix vegetables together; add salt and stir well.
    Chill 1 hour.
    Remove from refrigerator and drain.
    Add remaining ingredients and stir until sugar dissolves.
    Pour into a large dish; cover and refrigerate for several hours.
