Yeast Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. scalded milk
    1/2 c. sugar
    5 tsp. salt
    3/4 c. shortening
    2 c. warm water
    2 pkg. dry yeast
    12 to 14 c. flour
Preparation
    Scald milk, cool to lukewarm.
    In small bowl dissolve yeast and 3 teaspoons sugar with 1/2 cup water.
    In large bowl add milk, sugar, salt, shortening, water and yeast.
    Then add flour and mix well.
    Place on floured pastry board and knead.
    Place into greased container until double in size.
    Divide dough in 2 parts.
    Press or roll to 1/2 to 3/4-inch thick.
    Cut with 2 1/2-inch cutter.
    Shape round balls and place onto well-greased pans.
    Cover with cloth when double in size.
    Bake in 400\u00b0 oven 20 to 25 minutes.
