Copper Pennies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. carrots
    1 onion, chopped or sliced
    1/2 c. oil
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 can tomato soup
    1/2 green pepper, chopped
    1/2 c. vinegar
Preparation
    Cook carrots until tender.
    Cook remaining ingredients 5 minutes and then pour over drained carrots.
    Chill and serve.
