Squash Puffs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. grated squash
    1 egg, beaten
    1/3 c. flour
    1/3 c. cornmeal
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. garlic salt
    2 Tbsp. Parmesan cheese
    1 Tbsp. minced onion or 1 medium onion, grated
Preparation
    Combine squash and egg; stir well.
    Combine flour, cornmeal, baking powder, salt and cheese; stir well.
    Add squash mixture and onion; stir until blended.
    Drop by level tablespoonfuls into hot oil.
    Cook until golden brown, turning once.
    Drain well on paper towels.
