Upside-Down Pineapple Cake - cooking recipe

1/2 c. butter
1 (No. 2) pineapple (crushed)
1 c. brown sugar
2 Tbsp. pecans
1 c. flour
3 eggs, separated
1 c. white sugar
5 Tbsp. juice
Preparation

Melt butter in pan; spread brown sugar and butter in pan or baking dish.
Place pineapple and pecans on sugar and butter mixture.
Beat egg yolks until light.
Add sugar.
Gradually add pineapple juice and flour.
Fold in egg whites.
Pour over pineapple.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 35 minutes.
