Bacon-Stuffed Mushrooms - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. fresh mushrooms
2 Tbsp. chopped onion
2 Tbsp. butter
1 slice bread, torn into small pieces
1 c. (4 oz.) shredded Cheddar cheese
1 (3 oz.) can Oscar Mayer bacon bits
Preparation

Remove stems from mushrooms and set aside caps.
Chop stems. Cook onion and chopped mushroom stems in butter until tender.
Add bread pieces.
Remove from heat.
Stir in bacon bits and cheese. Mound filling in caps.
Place in shallow baking pan.
Bake at 400\u00b0 for 15 minutes until cheese is melted.
Serve warm.
Makes 15 to 20 appetizers.
