Swedish Toast - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. margarine
    2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    1 c. canned milk
    1 c. chopped almonds
    1 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    4 1/2 c. flour
    1 tsp. almond extract
Preparation
    Bake in 3 greased loaf pans for 45 minutes at 300\u00b0, then 15 to 20 minutes at 350\u00b0.
    Cool and wrap in wax paper.
    Keep for a couple of days at least.
    Slice thin, place on cookie sheet and toast in a 300\u00b0 oven for 20 minutes or more.
