Yankee Doodle Apple Dessert - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. sifted cake flour
    3/4 c. firmly packed light brown sugar
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. mace
    1/4 tsp. cinnamon
    1 egg
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. chopped tart apples
    1/2 c. chopped walnuts
Preparation
    Mix and sift cake flour,
    brown sugar, baking powder, salt, mace and cinnamon.
    Stir in unbeaten
    egg
    and
    vanilla.
    Fold in apples and walnuts.
    Turn in well greased 8-inch
    pie
    pan.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1/2 hour.
    Serve warm with ice cream.
