English Plum Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. currants
    1 lb. seedless raisins
    1 c. citron, ground fine
    1/2 lb. ground kidney suet (beef)
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. salt
    3 eggs
    2 c. brown sugar
    1 c. water
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients together, adding enough flour to make quite stiff.
    Take cloth of muslin, wring out of boiling water and spread in bowl. Sprinkle cloth with 3/4-inch thickness of flour. Put in mixture. Add 3/4-inch flour on top and sides so that mixture is entirely covered by flour.
    Tie the cloth about 1-inch above mixture to allow expansion from boiling.
