Sand Tarts - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. oleo, softened
1/2 c. shortening
1/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
3/4 c. nuts, chopped
1/2 box powdered sugar, sifted
Preparation

Cream together oleo, shortening, sugar and vanilla.
Mix in the flour and nuts.
Refrigerate for 1 hour.
Pinch dough off into small balls.
Roll and put on a sprayed cookie sheet.
Bake at 300\u00b0 for 25 - 30 minutes.
Do not brown.
Let cool to handle. Roll in powdered sugar.
Shake off excess sugar and place on wax paper to cool.
When cool store in cookie tins with wax paper between layers.
