White Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. cold water
    1 envelope Knox gelatine
    3/4 c. water
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 pt. sour cream
    1 (8 oz.) Cool Whip
Preparation
    Dissolve cold water and Knox gelatine.
    Set aside.
    Mix sugar and water together and microwave on High for 5 minutes.
    Mix the two mixtures together and refrigerate for 15 minutes.
    Add the sour cream and Cool Whip.
    Mix very well with wire whisk.
    Pour in mold or bowl (spray with Pam first); refrigerate until set.
    When removed from mold, garnish with desired fruit.

    cherry pie filling)
