Shoo-Fly Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 c. flour
2 1/2 c. brown sugar
1 c. butter or margarine
2 c. boiling water
1 c. molasses
2 tsp. baking soda
Preparation

Combine flour, sugar and butter.
Work into fine crumbs. Reserve 1 1/2 cups of crumbs for topping.
Add rest of ingredients; beat well until mixture is very thin.
Pour into an 8 x 12-inch greased and floured pan.
Sprinkle 1 1/2 cups crumbs on top.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
