Marie Underwood'S Pie Filling Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. oil
    salt
    4 eggs
    2 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 can pie filling (lemon or peach)
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation
    Mix sugar and oil; add eggs one at a time.
    Beat well after each.
    Sift together flour, baking powder and salt.
    Add gently to batter, mixing well; add vanilla.
    Mix sugar and cinnamon; set aside.
    Spread half of batter in greased 13 x 9-inch pan; sprinkle with half of sugar/cinnamon.
    Spread on pie filling.
    Repeat with batter; top with cinnamon/sugar.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for
    about 45 minutes.
