Homemade Ice Cream - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. whipping cream
    1 c. milk
    1 egg
    1/2 c. sugar
    vanilla (to flavor)
Preparation
    Put these ingredients in a clean 1 pound coffee can.
    Put this coffee can in a 3 pound coffee can.
    Put lids on both cans.
    Layer alternately crushed ice and rock salt around the 1 pound can.
    Turn the 3 pound can on its side and roll between two people for 10 minutes.
    Open can and carefully open small can.
    Scrape the insides of small can with a knife.
    Repack ice and salt around can again.
    Repeat rolling; check every 5 minutes.
    If it's frozen enough, eat.
