Country-Style Fried Cabbage - cooking recipe

2 Tbsp. bacon fat
1 medium head green cabbage, shredded
salt
pepper
Preparation

Heat bacon fat in 10-inch skillet.
Add cabbage.
Cook over low heat, stirring frequently, until light brown.
Cover and cook, stirring occasionally, until crisp-tender, about 5 minutes. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
Makes 4 servings.
