Grilled Shrimp - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. shrimp, shelled and deveined
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    2 Tbsp. oil
    2 Tbsp. soy sauce
    1 Tbsp. lemon juice
    1/2 small onion
    2 cloves garlic, minced
    1/8 tsp. red pepper flakes
Preparation
    Place shrimp in bowl.
    Mix all ingredients and pour over shrimp.
    Cover and refrigerate for about 1 hour (no longer).
    Lift shrimp from marinade and thread 6 to 8 shrimp on skewer.
    Place skewers on grill, turning as needed.
    Cook 8 to 10 minutes.
