Wassail - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. sugar
    1 c. water
    3 cinnamon sticks
    1 qt. pineapple juice
    1 qt. orange juice
    5 1/2 c. Chablis or apple cider
    1 lemon, sliced
    1/2 c. lemon juice
Preparation
    Combine sugar, water, lemon slices and cinnamon.
    Bring to a boil; cook 5 minutes, stirring constantly.
    Combine the juices and wine or cider.
    Bring to a boil and let simmer for 10 minutes. Combine both mixtures and heat together.
    Remove cinnamon sticks. Serve hot.
