Freezer Cucumbers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 qt. sliced cucumbers, thin sliced
    4 onions, thin sliced
    4 Tbsp. salt
    2 c. vinegar (white)
    6 c. sugar (used 5 c.)
Preparation
    Put first 3 ingredients in a large bowl; soak 2 hours in ice water.
    Heat vinegar and sugar but don't boil.
    Set off stove and cool.
    Drain cucumbers and pour cooled syrup over.
    Set for 1 hour and then freeze.
