Vegetable Chowder - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 thinly sliced potatoes
    2 thinly sliced carrots
    1 stalk broccoli, cut in flowerets
    1/2 head cauliflower, cut in flowerets
    1/2 lb. fresh mushrooms
    1 sweet onion, diced
    1 c. corn
    1 stalk chopped celery
    1/2 c. butter
    1 1/2 qt. milk
    1 pt. heavy cream
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Add all vegetables first to a crock-pot, then slowly add liquids.
    Cook on low for 5 hours.
    Serve warm.
    Yields 8 servings, one hour to prepare.
