Pineapple Slush - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. rum extract
    1 c. frozen pineapple juice
    4 1/2 c. water
    1 bottle lemon-lime soda
Preparation
    Mix sugar and water and bring to a boil.
    Simmer on low heat for 10 minutes.
    Combine sugar, water, pineapple juice and rum extract and freeze.
    Spoon mixture into glasses and pour lemon-lime soda over ice.
    Stir and serve when it becomes slushy.
