Cheese-Broccoli Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 oz. partially cooked noodles
    6 c. chicken broth
    6 c. milk
    2 Tbsp. butter
    3/4 c. chopped onion
    1 tsp. salt
    1 lb. Velveeta cheese
    1 garlic clove, crushed or 1/8 tsp. garlic powder
    2 (10 oz.) pkg. chopped broccoli, thawed
Preparation
    In 5-quart pan, melt butter and saute onion for 3 minutes. Add broth and heat to boiling.
    Add noodles and salt and boil uncovered for 3 minutes.
    Stir in broccoli and garlic and cook 4 more minutes.
    Add milk and cheese; pepper to taste and cook until cheese melts.
    Don't boil once milk is added.
    Serves 8.
